Health Services?

RAS has a full time, qualified nurse on campus. She is available for all first aid needs and coordinates procedures in case of emergency.

The nurse administers medicine when appropriately instructed by parents. She keeps teachers and parents informed of any medical interventions. She also monitors the school’s health insurance procedures. The infirmary is up-to-date and can service minor and more serious first aid problems. We have a close relationship with two clinics in town, both just a few minutes from the RAS campus.

Students submit a medical check-up form signed by a doctor and up-to-date vaccination records at enrollment. Thereafter, the school’s electronic system nurse sends reminders by Internet or SMS to your mobile telephone (GSM) when boosters are due.The nurse does basic vision, hearing and scoliosis checks each year, informing families when children need a follow-up with a physician. The nurse’s office is near the school’s upper elementary playground. The facility includes a bed for emergency use, an examining table, and relevant medicines and equipment.

RAS has a full-service, supervised cafeteria on campus that serves hot and cold meals as well as a la carte foods for older students.

We serve hot and cold meals, as well as a la carte foods for older students. Students may bring their lunch from home and eat picnic style, or purchase lunch ticket booklets and eat in the school cafeteria. All students are supervised at lunch. No carbonated beverages, chips, candy, or packaged foods are served to elementary students. Ice cream is available for purchase on Fridays.
You can check the Cafeteria Menu for the current month online.
